Norwich man arrest after police find drugs, handgun in home


Police arrested a Norwich man on Monday after finding a handgun and drugs in the suspect’s residence. 

Norwich police and officials arrested Mark Campbell, 39, of Norwich, after a search of his residence was conducted by police.

According to officials, they seized over $9,500 in cash along, a .45 caliber handgun with seven live rounds of ammunition, 39.2 grams of crack cocaine, cutting agent, digital scale, two cell phones, and marijuana.

Campbell was held on a $250,000 cash surety bond. He is scheduled to appear in court in May.
