PD: 2 men arrested for stealing steel equipment from Plainfield business


Two men were arrested Tuesday for allegedly stealing over $6,000 worth of steel equipment from a Plainfield business back in December.

Police say that on December 17th of last year, officers received a complaint from Tilcon on All Hallow Road in the Wauregan section of town. They reported that a large amount of steel equipment, estimated at about $6,700, was stolen from the business. 

After a lengthy investigation, police arrested 38-year-old Kevin Richmond and 42-year-old Jason Gallow in the theft. 

Gallow was charged with larceny, criminal trespass and criminal impersonation.

Both men were held on $15,000 bond.
