PD: Bridgeport man arrested for selling heroin laced with Fentanyl in Norwalk

A Bridgeport man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly selling heroin laced with Fentanyl in Norwalk

Police say that in January, detectives received information that a man was selling heroin laced with Fentanyl in the city of Norwalk.

An investigation was then initiated and several controlled purchases of heroin was made from the suspect, who was identified as 33-year-old Kentwan Chappell. 

An arrest warrant was later obtained and Chappell was arrested. According to police, he was found to be in possession of 49 bags of heroin and a field test found it to be laced with Fentanyl 

Chappell was charged with Possession of a controlled substance, Sale of narcotics, Possession of narcotics with intent to sell, Possession narcotics within 1500′ school, Possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1500′ school, Possession less ½ of marijuana, Possession of drug paraphernalia and Possession of drug paraphernalia within 1500′ school. 

He was held on $250,000.
