A man allegedly confessed to robbing four West Haven stores after he was already charged with robbing one of them at knife point on Thursday.

Police say that at around 11:19 a.m., officers responded to Krauzer’s at 10 Jones Hill Road for a robbery

The suspect, later identified as 36-year-old Jaquan Glass, was allegedly armed with a knife when he demanded cash from an employee. He then fled in a gray vehicle.

Officers say that they were able to identify Glass as the suspect by evidence gathered at the scene. A search warrant was then executed at 32 Arlington Street where evidence of the robbery was located.

Glass was then taken into custody later that day without incident.

A further investigation revealed that Glass was also the suspect in three other similar robberies in West Haven. Detectives were then allegedly able to get Glass to confess to his involvement in the Krauzer’s robbery, as well as the robberies at the Family Dollar, Spirits of West Haven and CVS, all which happened this past month.

Glass was charged with robbery and larceny. More charges are expected for the other robberies.
