PD: Willimantic woman arrested for illegally parking stolen car in Hartford

A Willimantic woman was arrested in Hartford after she allegedly illegally parked a stolen car, early Friday morning. 

Police say that at around 4:14 a.m., officers responding to a burglary saw a 2017 Ford Fiesta illegally parked and occupied in the area of 22 Elliot Street. 

While investigating this, police say they learned that the Ford was stolen from 205 Laurel Street in Hartford on Tuesday at 2 p.m. 

The driver, identified as 37-year-old Teresa Deriso, was then arrested and charged with larceny and improper parking.
