PD: Woman arrested, accomplice sought in Fairfield Kohl’s theft

FAIRFIELD, Conn. (WTNH)– Police are looking for the accomplice of a woman who was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at a Kohl’s in Fairfield on Wednesday.

Police say at around 5:37 p.m., officers responded to a shoplifting in progress at the Kohl’s Department Store at 290 Tunxis Hill Road.

When officers arrived, loss prevention had a woman, later identified as 29-year-old Alexia Morales, in custody.

According to police, Morales was accompanied by an unknown light-skinned Hispanic man, who appeared to be in thirties and had a beard. He was wearing a winter hat and jacket during the incident. The man reportedly fled the scene, by entering the passenger side of a black sedan, with about $666.72 worth of merchandise.

Morales was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. She was released on a $1,000 bond.
