Police arrest Norwalk man on suspected marijuana sale charges

Police arrested a Norwalk man on Thursday as a result of an investigation involving drug sales within and around the city. 

Norwalk police say that in December 2018, officials received information that a suspect was selling large quantities of marijuana in and around Norwalk. Officers conducted an investigation that involved multiple controlled purchases of marijuana. As a result, arrest warrants were secured as well as a warrant for the suspect’s residence.

Police arrested David Sequeira, 24 of Norwalk, a traffic stop on Wall Street on Thursday. Officers then executed the search warrant at Sequeira’s residence in Norwalk and seized 120 grams of marijuana, $1,300, 13 THC vaping cartridges, a .38 caliber Charter 2000 handgun, and various drug paraphernalia and packaging material.

Sequeira was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, among other charges. Sequeira has a bond set to $315,000.
