Police: Connecticut woman arrested for carrying guns at JFK

NEW YORK (WTNH) — Port Authority Police have arrested a Danbury woman for allegedly traveling with two handguns at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

New York Port Authority Police say that on Sunday, 34-year-old Tiffany Clark told officials she wanted to travel with two pistols she was carrying in gun cases. Clark did not have permits for either the Kimber .45 caliber or the Ruger .380 pistols that were in the case, and was subsequently placed under arrest.

Clark is facing a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon, and is due back in Queens criminal court on July 6th.
