Police are searching for a suspect wanted in Winchester burglaries.

The Winchester Police Department says that they responded to a call on Holabird Avenue Thursday after the homeowner reported seeing a male individual running out from her home.

A similar incident occurred on March 27, when a suspect kicked in the door at Walnut St. and stole a Play Station gaming console, an engagement ring, a loose change and a handgun.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 5 ft. 7 inches in height, stocky build, with short hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a plaid shirt.

Police believe that the suspect might just have been released from incarceration after being arrested last year for similar burglaries.

Authorities ask residents to be aware and report any suspicious individuals or activities in the area.
