Police arrested a Stratford man following the narcotics search warrant execution on Monday.

According to the Stratford Police Department, the suspect they arrested was a wanted fugitive who has avoided sentencing for three years for weapons and domestic violence offenses. Police say marijuana, packaging materials, and money were seized.

Police made a narcotics arrest on Travis Walton, 24 of Stratford, under five outstanding warrants with a total of $400,000 cash bond. Police say Walton was unable to post bond and is due to appear in court on Tuesday.
