A Waterbury teen was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing over $5,000 worth of items from a Naugatuck Walmart last year.

Police say that Trevor Robles, 18, voluntarily surrendered at Naugatuck Police Headquarters for burglary charges.

The arrest warrant stemmed from an incident in December of 2018 in which Robles and his accomplices entered Walmart in Naugatuck and took over $5,000 in electronics before fleeing the store.

Naugatuck Police had previously issued a press release requesting the public and the media’s assistance in locating Robles.

Naugatuck Police also arrested William Higgins, 19, and Stephen Verity, 28, in February for similar burglary charges earlier this year.
