Waterbury woman attempted theft at Naugatuck Walmart

According to the Naugatuck police, a white female from Waterbury attempted to take items from the Naugatuck Walmart on Wednesday night at 5:15 p.m.

Naugatuck police reported that the woman engaged in a struggle with loss prevention after attempting to steal items from the store. Reports included that the woman was wearing gray pants with a gray and red hoodie. She fled on foot on to New Haven Road by Candee Road. 

Naugatuck officers are investigating the incident and request that anyone with information should contact the Naugatuck PD at 203-729-5221 or the NPD Confidential Tip Line at 203-720-1010.
