A 31-year-old man was arrested again on Friday for allegedly robbing a Windsor Locks Family Dollar store five times since last July.
Police say that Colin Theobald had already been arrested for robbing a Family Dollar and interfering with police on March 25th, but was then arrested again on two additional robbery warrants while at Enfield Superior Court.
According to authorities, four robberies were reported at the Family Dollar store since July of 2018. An investigation determined that Theobald was the suspect in all four of those incidents.
When officers responded to the fifth robbery at the Family Dollar, they were aware of the previous robberies and that Theobald was a suspect. This resulted in police locating Theobald and arresting him after the onsite investigation.
Police say that during an interview with Theobald, he provided credible evidence of committing all five robberies at the Family Dollar store. He also had committed a sixth robbery but at Casey’s Market on August 27th of last year, where a handgun was implied.
Theobald was charged with several counts of robbery and larceny.
Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
