Deadline Monday for IRS to turn over Trump tax returns

Monday marks the deadline given by House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal for the IRS to turn over President Donald Trump’s tax information.

Last week, Neal wrote a letter to the IRS, demanding Trump’s personal and business tax returns going back six years.

The letter said he expected a reply by 5:00 p.m. EST on April 23rd.

President Trump’s attorney has already informed the treasury department it can turn down the request.
