Delays in Milford after tractor-trailer rollover crash


MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Drivers heading south on Interstate 95 in Milford are experiencing heavier than normal delays after a tractor-trailer rollover crash Thursday afternoon.

Just before 2:45 p.m., State Police tweeted out that the exit 40 off-ramp of Interstate 95 southbound in Milford was closed due to a rollover crash with injuries. Upon arrival at the scene, Troopers found the truck rolled over, with wood spread out across the ramp.

State Police are advising drivers to seek an alternate route in the area, and to expect reduced speeds approaching Milford on 95 south.Related Content: News 8 Live Traffic Cameras

The identity and condition of the truck driver has not yet been released. Emergency crews are working to clear the debris from the roadway, while Troopers begin their investigation.Related Content: Live Traffic Flow Map for Connecticut
