(WTNH) – The NCAA Tournament starts this week, and the state is warning people about illegal gambling platforms.

There are only three gaming operators approved to offer internet gaming in Connecticut: FanDuel, Draft Kings and Play Sugarhouse.

The Department of Consumer Protection is getting reports of illegal offshore gambling businesses trying to get Connecticut residents to place wagers on their platforms.

If you’re aware of any illegal gambling businesses, you can report them to the Department of Consumer Protection by emailing dcp.gaming@ct.gov.
