WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — The Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has announced it has cancelled all road skills tests for Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The DMV says the expected storm conditions prompted the cancellations and that those who scheduled tests are being notified.Storm Team 8: Click here for the latest forecast
The department is also warning drivers to remove snow and ice from hoods, trunks and roofs or face fines and penalties.
Motorists are exempt from these fines for parked vehicles and vehicles that are moving prior to the weather beginning.
