DOT planning a simulated rail accident in Hartford

The Department of Transportation will be conducting a simulation of a rail accident on Saturday in Hartford

According to the DOT, the drill will include volunteer passengers, including children who will play injured passengers.

Emergency responders will also be called to the scene.

It’s likely they are conducting the simulation to test out safety and drills in worst case scenarios for any event. 

In any case, it’s another important measure for the Department of Transportation to take ensure safety for all Connecticut commuters.
