WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — One Democrat is throwing his hat into the ring to become the state’s next Attorney General.
State Senator Paul Doyle (D-Wethersfield) officially declared his run for the position on Thursday.
The Democrat made the announcement in Wethersfield.

“While we may have our challenges, our best days are ahead of us and Connecticut’s unique character and the hard-working citizens of this state are worth fighting for,” Sen. Doyle said.
He is looking to fill the seat of current Attorney General George Jepsen, whose term ends in January, 2019.
