There was a big celebration at Dubai International Airport in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates on Thursday and it was all thanks to an American!

Arjun, a  9-year-old boy from Orlando, Florida, was Dubai International Airport’s one billionth passenger. His family was greeted from their flight from Orlando with confetti and will be treated to a four day experience in Dubai.

The airport called the feat “significant” in a long list of achievements since it first opened back in September of 1960 when it had a tiny terminal building and a runway of compacted sand!
