Police in East Hartford will be putting down their razors for a good cause in November.
Officers with the department will take part in “No-Shave November.”
Beginning on Nov. 1st, officials will grow out their facial hair and raise funds for the Connecticut Cancer Foundation.

Last year, the Ledyard and East Hampton Police Departments raised $1,700 for cancer patients.
Those wishing to donate can write checks made out to the CT Cancer Foundation with EHPD in the memo. Donations can also be made online.
