East Haven mother found guilty of killing her two children

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A judge has determined that an East Haven mother accused in the deaths of 6-year-old Aleisha Moore and 7-year-old Daron Moore has been found guilty of two counts of murder.

In June 2015, the two children were found dead in the family’s home after the mother, 37-year-old LeRoya Moore, gave them a deadly dose of a cold medicine and drowned the children.
