Florida boy starts non-profit for kids with dyslexia to read to dogs

A 10-year-old Florida boy has started a non-profit for kids to read to dogs.

After being diagnosed with dyslexia, Shane Herman started “Let’s Get Booking.”

The program was designed to help other kids gain confidence in reading.

The pups benefit from socializing.

Now, Herman has teamed up with an animal rescue that brings dogs to his events.

All of the dogs are available for adoption at each event.
