The Department of Education has revealed how students performed on the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium Test.
That is the state’s standardized test for students in 3rd through 8th grade.

The school district with the greatest percentage of students who met or exceeded goals in English and math was New Canaan.
In second was Stamford Charter School for Excellence.
Westport came in third, followed by Darien and Easton to round out the top five.
