NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — There’s been a major push throughout the country to get kids to ditch the junk food and eat healthier. It’s not always easy to get that point across, but the “Turn The Tide” foundation has created an educational music video and it’s helping to enlighten and empower young people to take control of their health.
Joining us Saturday on Good Morning Connecticut, Dr. David Katz, the director of Yale-Griffin Prevention Research Center, and his son Gabe Katz, who stars in the music video.
News 8’s Brian Spyros sits down with the Katz’s to discuss the video and the reason behind it, the key message in the foundation’s newest video, and how important is it for someone Gabe’s age to deliver this message. To watch the full interview, click on the video above.
