Emergency crews respond to person hit by tree in Tolland

Firefighters in Tolland are responding to the area of Loehr Road for a person struck by a falling tree.

Officials say Life Star was called to the scene but the dispatch has been canceled. The victim has instead been transported by ground ambulance to a local area hospital. 

There is no word on the condition of the victim, or what has caused the incident.
