Officials warn residents along CT River of 90,000 gallon sewage spill

(WTNH) — An alert for people along the Connecticut River- 90,000 gallons of raw sewage was accidentally spilled into the river in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The water and sewer commission says a pump station malfunctioned Monday morning. Investigators are trying to figure out what went wrong.

No other information has been revealed at this time.
