Tree damage in Pachaug State Forest caused by gypsy moths: officials

Growing concerns over the damage gypsy moths have inflicted on trees across the state will be brought up on Friday by Connecticut and environmental officials.

DEEP and other environmental agencies will join Congressman Joe Courtney on Friday for a tour of Pachaug State Forest

The area was hit hard in 2018 by the moths leaving behind dead and damaged trees. The tour begins at 9:30 a.m. in Voluntown
