U.S. carbon dioxide emissions up in 2018


Carbon dioxide emissions in the U.S. rose sharply in 2018 after declining for three years.

Those emissions jumped by 3.4 percent last year.

According to researchers, the increase marks the second largest yearly gain in climate change causing carbon dioxide emissions in more than two decades.
