Exercise specialist discusses how to stay safe while staying active during the winter


(WTNH) – It is very tempting to let the cold weather keep you from your exercise routine. Yet, there are many advantages to a winter workout and if you take the right precautions, it is generally safe to get active during the cold winter months.

Julie Sopchak, an exercise physiologist with Hartford HealthCare GoodLife Fitness is discussing the benefit and safety tips when exercising outdoors during the winter.
