FAA continues investigation on Meriden plane crash


Still no word on the names of two people injured in a plane crash in Meriden.

It happened Thursday night on a baseball field at Wilcox Technical high school. The field was not in use at the time of the crash.

Police say the people on board were practicing taking off and landing at a nearby airport.

The plane hit high voltage power lines, causing half the city to lose power at one point.

Federal investigators are trying to figure out what went wrong.

FAA records show the plane is owned by the Westchester Flying Club in New York.
