Fall seems ages away while we suffer from the latest heat wave, but that does not mean foliage predictions have been put on hold!

SmokyMountains.com uses data from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to make their best predictions about when the leaves will turn, based off of historical trends.

The 2018 prediction guide has arrived, and color changes are just weeks away.

By September 17th, the majority of the Northeast is predicted to have minimal to partial leaf changes.

By October 15th, all 50 states are predicted to have at least minimal change, with many showing past peak foliage.
