FARMINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill police officers in Farmington.

Police say 56-year-old Peter Ostrowski called a nurse to talk about a prescription for his elderly father. They say he then told her he’d taken several different drugs and to call the police, then told her he’d kill any officers that responded.

According to officials, Ostrowski swore at police when they arrived, then went back in to his Webster Street home. He came out a few minutes later and was arrested.

Ostrowski was released on $2,500 bond and sent to a hospital for evaluation. He’s charged with interfering with police and breach of peace.
