FDA issues black box warning for sleep aids


If you take a sleep aid to get some shut eye, you’ll want to read this. 

The Food and Drug Administration is adding new black box warnings to pills like ambien, lunesta and sonata for potentially dangerous side effects.

There have been reports of rare but serious injuries related to sleepwalking and drowsy driving from the popular drugs. 

The feds said four percent of adults have used prescription sleep aids in the last month.
