Georgia woman headed to court after potty training mishap with toddler son

A potty training mishap, is forcing a Georgia mom to go to court just days before she’s due to have a second child.

When Brooke Johns heard that urgent warning from her 3-year-old son in the backseat, she knew she had to act quickly.

She tried to make it to the nearest gas station, but as they pulled into to the parking lot, she knew it was too late.

Brooke says she tried to cover her son up, as best she could, but this still got the attention of a deputy.

“He was peeing before his pants were even all the way down. Obviously he had to go,” said Brooke. She adds, “accidents happen. And he was like well take him in the bathroom. What if I would of ran into the bathroom and somebody would have been in there? Was I going to let him pee on the floor of the gas station?”

The deputy wrote her a ticket for disorderly conduct, saying she allowed her child to urinate in a parking lot.

Johns is due next month and she says she’s going to court before she gives birth to her second child because it’ll be easier than when she has the newborn.
