Girl Scouts of CT to hear from female legislators in Hartford

Hundreds of girl scouts will head to the capitol to learn about civic engagement on Wednesday.

It’s part of Girl Scout Day in Hartford. The Girl Scouts of Connecticut will hear from female legislators on the importance of advocacy and public policy, and attend a public press conference. 

Girl Scouts officials say they are excited to give these kids the opportunity to see democracy in action.
