If you live near the Naval submarine base in Groton, you may have heard some gunfire on Wednesday morning.
Not to worry, the base held some drills between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., which included the use of automatic weapons. Of course, they were firing blanks.

Those drills also involved security boats at the base, and others that simulated boats ‘on the attack.’
