The republican gubernatorial candidate shook hands with customers at Frankie’s restaurant, where a crowd gathered to meet him.

We found democratic candidate Ned Lamont at a church in New Haven.

Both men are projecting optimism even with recent polls showing this is a tight race with just  a few days to go.

“We’ve got these polls, we look at these numbers, we’re going to be fine, we’re going to win”, Lamont said.
“The last poll had us up 3 points. I think people are moving towards change as qe move closer and it starts to get serious”, Stefanowski said.

Independent gubernatorial candidate Oz Griebel had a meet and greet in Putnam Saturday.

All 3 men will be back on the road Sunday  trying to shore up support and seal the deal with undecided voters out there before Tuesday.
