Guilford firefighters battle early morning condominium fire

GUILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A fire broke out at the Seaview Terrace condominiums in Guilford early Friday morning, and two people are reported to have received medical attention.

A Seaview Terrace resident said she called 911 around 3:15 a.m. on Friday morning after an alarm alerted her to the smoke filling her unit. She and the two others living there were able to escape safely, but two people were reported to have received medical attention.

The fire was reported to have been under control around 5 a.m. There is no word yet on the extent of injury to any occupants, firefighters, or first responders.
