Hamden Police arrest 4 men accused of firing BB gun at pedestrian


HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Hamden Police have arrested 4 men accused of firing a BB gun at a pedestrian. It happened Sunday night along Dixwell Avenue near Woodin Street. According to investigators, the four men were inside a moving car when the shots were fired around 9:45pm. With the help of a concerned citizen, Hamden Police were able to track down the car just a short time later, and arrested all 4 men. Police found a BB gun, pellets, 2 masks and a box cutter inside the car. 19-year-old Jamal Bynum of Hamden, 20-year-old Carlton White of New Haven, 21-year old Tymar Cooper of Hamden, and 20-year-old Javon Johnson of West Haven, all face reckless endangerment charges.
