Hartford apartment building fire sends 10 to hospital for smoke inhalation

Hartford firefighters are investigating a fire in an apartment building on Willard Street than sent ten people to the hospital for smoke inhalation Wednesday.

The fire broke out at 50 Willard Street around 1:45 p.m. Ten people were treated on scene and transported to Hartford Hospital for smoke inhalation. No other injuries were reported.

Firefighters are conducting their investigation to determine what may have caused the fire.
