Hartford doctor touches on the statistics of National Physician Suicide Awareness Day

(WTNH)– Today is National Physician Suicide Awareness Day. Doctors have the highest suicide rate of any profession, which was amplified during COVID. It’s a statistic that many are not aware of.

Here to talk more about physician suicide is Dr. Faiqa Cheema, Director of Transplant Infectious Disease at Hartford Hospital.
