Hartford police are investigating a homicide incident

Hartford police confirmed they are found a man shot to death in a basement on 241 Laurel Street on Tuesday night.

The Hartford Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation in the area of 241 Laurel Street.

Police say that the victim, a man in his 30s, was found shot to death in the basement hallway at 241 Laurel Street in Hartford. 

According to officers, they tired to conduct life-saving efforts along with paramedics when they arrived on scene but were unsuccessful. 

A shot spotter detected seven shots went off. 

Police are still investigating.
