Hartford is one of two cities selected by the Obama Foundation to participate in its Community Leadership Corps.
The six month program is geared towards 18 to 25-year-olds who want to fix problems and seek out new opportunities for their communities.
President Obama’s hometown of Chicago is the other city selected.
There are 100 slots available in Hartford.
