Colon cancer third most common cancer diagnosed in men, women in the U.S.


(WTNH) — Colon cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the U.S. The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force says colon cancer screening should start at age 45 rather than 50. Colorectal Surgeon Dr. Dan Lavy with Hartford HealthCare St. Vincent’s Medical Center explains how this could save thousands of lives.
