79-year-old East Haven man tests positive for coronavirus


EAST HAVEN Conn. (WTNH) — East Haven has its first case of coronavirus.

On Friday, Mayor Joseph Carfora said the person is a 79-year-old man. He is currently in the hospital.

Carfora said two firefighters were exposed while helping him. They are currently in quarantine with their families for 14 days.

He reminds residents to wash their hands and maintain social distancing.
