There is some good news if you like swimming at state beaches and parks in Connecticut.

Officials say that no municipal beaches or swimming areas are closed because of high bacteria levels.

That is according to this week’s water quality report from the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.

Despite the good news, officials note that Wharton Brook State Park in Wallingford is still closed due to storm damage from May’s tornadoes.
