(WTNH) – One in 11 adults in the U.S. will be diagnosed with kidney stones at some point in their lifetime. The summer heat this time of year can actually make people more prone to getting kidney stones.

Dr. Evan Shreck, a urologist with Hartford HealthCare’s Tallwood Urology & Kidney Institute at Midstate Medical Center is discussing kidney stones.
