(WTNH) – A stroke is a potentially deadly event that afflicts thousands of people. To talk about the signs, symptoms, and treatments is Doctor Kelly Matmati, Stroke Program Director and Chair of Neurology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center.
A stroke occurs when either a clot rupture or it blocks a blood vessel that carries oxygen and nutrients to the brain.
