Flu shots being offered at Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton


An immunization clinic is being held at the Henry Carter Hull Library in Clinton on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Those who attend will not only be able to get the flu vaccine, but can also be vaccinated for pneumonia and whooping cough.

According to the HCH Library Adult Events press release, most insurance plans are accepted, but insurance card must be presented. Guests without insurance may pay by cash or check and no registration or appointment is required. 

According to the State Department of Public Health, 28 people have been hospitalized across Connecticut so far this flu season. 

At least two people have died, and officials say this month is a good time to get the flu vaccine to prevent getting sick.
